ARC Night Market FAQs
1. What is the ARC Night Market?
A celebration of summer and all things beauty: this is South Africa’s first night market made for you, beauty lovers! Discover cult brands, get hands-on with samples, personalise your products, and shop your favourite minis and gifts ahead of the festive season. Then stick around for a dancefloor, cocktails, street eats, beauty games from your favourite brands, prizes and more - all in one unforgettable night. It’s beauty’s big night out!
2. When and where is it happening?
Cape Town: 31 October @ The Old Biscuit Mill
Johannesburg: 7 November @ Prison Break Market
Doors open from 6:00 PM.
3. How much are tickets and what do they include?
Tickets are R500 each (this is redeemable in products at the ARC Mini Market or in ARC stores or online)
Your ticket includes:
Entry to the night market and all its activity!
Access to brand games, activities, and experiences, all of which come with the opportunity to score samples, treats and prizes
Access to all the activities (outlined below)
Live DJs all night long
Access to the ARC Mini Market to shop our favourite minis and sets
The chance to win spot prizes throughout the evening
A limited-edition ARC tote bag + Summer Club Fan
4. What activities can I expect?
20+ Brand Stalls: Explore cult brands, sample new products, play games and win prizes.
ARC Mini Mart: Shop minis, travel sets, and gift sets (ticket value redeemable here and in store).
A Bedazzle Bar: Personalise and bedazzle your purchases.
Get Inked: Complimentary temporary tattoos.
Get pierced: Safe, complimentary piercing on site
Food Trucks: Delicious street eats available for purchase.
The Rabanne Bar: Complimentary cocktail included; additional drinks available for purchase.
The Aperol Lounge: Enjoy chilling out in the Aperol lounge
The Urban Decay Dancefloor + makeup station: Dance the night away with live DJ sets from some of SA’s coolest DJs + get your festive look on.
Note: Your ticket includes one complimentary drink at the Rabanne Bar and a small snack, other drinks and food trucks are pay-as-you-go.

6. Can I buy food and drinks at the event?
Yes! There will be a cash bar and food trucks available throughout the night. Your ticket includes a complimentary Rabanne-inspired cocktail, and an Aperol Spritz (while stock lasts), and all other food and drinks are available for purchase.
7. Is the event suitable for all ages?
The ARC Night Market is designed for adults, aged 16 and over.
Under 16s can attend with an adult only. Both adult and under-16-year-old will need to buy a ticket. Please note: there will be loud music, and alcohol served at this event.
8. Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are refundable up until the event start time. Thereafter they are not refundable.
9. How can I redeem my ticket at the ARC Mini Market?
Your ticket value (R500) can be redeemed for products at the ARC Mini Market on the night of the event or in any ARC store after the event, until 31 December 2025. Simply present the voucher you will receive on entry at the Mini Market or in store to shop your favourites.
10. What safety measures will be in place?
ARC is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. All local health and safety regulations will be observed at the venue.
11. Can I park at the venue.
There is very, very limited parking at both venues. We encourage everyone to use Uber or another, drop and go ride sharing service.
12. Will I get a goodie bag?
While there will not be a “goody-bag”, you will walk away with plenty of samples, treats, spot surprises, a lucky dip item, and a limited-edition ARC tote bag and Summer Club fan. This night is about the experience: Think dancing under the stars, exploring your favourite beauty brands up close, and collecting treats and surprises along the way. We're hard at work ensuring you have a great party, and we hope you will join in for a good time.
13. What is a lucky dip?
On exit, there will be a surprise box filled with small beauty items. Guests will be able to grab one product (no peeking!) from inside.
14. Can men come?
Of course! All genders are welcome.
15. Is there a dress code?
Not strictly. Come as you’d like. But we think it would be fun to dress up!
